Politicians need to make pledges not just on the vote winning issues that win them elections but on issues of life and death that no one wants to talk about. Children are not supposed to be taking their own lives due to increasing levels of bullying and violence in schools.
One family losing a child as a consequence should be enough to bring Politicians to the table and yet our group now has over 100 families who’s children have been seriously harmed and 15 families who’s children have committed suicide as a result of bullying and violence. It’s time for our Politicians to take action to protect the most vulnerable citizens in society or step down from their positions and allow someone else to take up the position of MP that will.
